With the sun beginning to come out and with more time spent in the garden, it's time to get down to the Garden Centre to stock up for Spring. We're well served for garden centres in the villages around Ely but I always like to buy my plants, shrubs, hanging baskets and gardening equipment from Twentypence Garden Centre. I've even bought garden furniture from the place. And if your fingers are not too green and you feel you need a little advice and information, they stage great instructional talks where you can learn all about things like 'Spring Flowering Shrubs' and 'Rose Care'. They also have a really good cafe too!

When I lived in Hadenham I would visit this place often on a Sunday, they do a nice roast in their restaurant, there is a great selection of tools, plants, books and just about anything you would need in the garden. At Christmas time it's a real treat for the kids and there is usually a good selection of trees and holly wreaths and mistletoe.
