A brilliant place to order take away and eat in Ely. Out of all of the Chinese Restaurants around Ely, this one is so far the best.

Great Value In Hard Times
Eating out has become more and more expensive in the tough times of the recession, so the good value to be had at the Gourmet Plaza is a breath of fresh air. The service could be a little cheerier but the prices make up for the lack of a smile when you pay.

Value For Money
An unbeatable buffet menu price attracted me to the Gourmet Plaza on a midweek night and I wasn't disappointed with the quality of the food - and the crispy aromatic duck in particular was really tasty. A charming restaurant with an eat-as-much-as-you-can buffet policy that makes dining out affordable in these tough times.

Great take-away, ok eat-in
So glad when Gourmet Plaza opened, finally a decent Chinese take-away in Ely! Sadly they don't deliver (?) but food was great, fresh, tasty, high quality. Eat-in is a buffet, so food can be a bit tired if you're there at the wrong time. Ambience and service were pretty good tho. I did once struggle to make myself understood placing an order tho.
