While a wider choice of popular drinking establishments in the city spread the demand around, The Minster is still a lively and noisy pub, with just the right mix of reasonably priced food, beers and late opening to appeal. It is a popular sports pub too, screening all that Sky has to offer, including Premier League football and cricket, while the pub is not slow in boasting about its sponsorship of Ely Tigers rugby squad.

The Minster Tavern
This local pub located on Minster Place is well renowned for its excellent menu for pub food. Location wise it's fantastic as it's facing both the cathedral and the town centre. In addition they offer a great selection of local ales and regularly have drinks offer for most beverages.
