Ely Amateur Dramatics Society: ' A Murder is Announced'

Well done to Ely Amateur Dramatics Society on three excellent performances of Agatha Christie's 'A Murder is Announced'. A stunning set, simple and effective lighting and stylish costumes echoed the polish with which ADS' 'Team Agatha' pulled off two hours of drama, humour, mixed motives, hidden identities, red herrings and verbal and visual clues as they unravelled the typically complex Christie plot. ADS veterans were joined on stage by newcomers David Palmer as the long-suffering Inspector Craddock and Susan Howell as Miss Marple, both of whom deserve particular mention for their superb performances and are welcome additions to the Society.
