Holy Trinity Church in Station Road, Haddenham CB6 3TB will hold its annual Harvest Time Flowers and Paintings Festival over the first weekend in October. The Church will be full of beautiful and creative flower displays on the theme of "With a Joyful Song." There will be a special display on the font to celebrate the birth of Prince George.
To add to the spectacle there will also be an Affordable Art & Craft Fair. Most of the paintings on sale will be unframed and priced below £50, but there will also be framed pictures on show. There will also be the very popular stalls selling hand-made and reproduction cards, high quality mixed crafts, including jewellery and textiles, and scrumptious home-made cakes and preserves.
One of the many delights of the Festival is the delicious home- cooked lunches and teas - so everyone is welcome to come along to view the creative floral and artistic displays and stay for a tasty Ploughman's, a bowl of warming soup, or a generous slice of cake.
Entry to the Festival is free and opening times are:
- Preview evening Friday 4th October 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. (invitation-only, with invitations available from Haddenham Galleries)
• Saturday 5th October 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Sunday 6th October 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There will be refreshments on the Friday evening, and lunches and teas will be served on both the Saturday and Sunday. All proceeds will go to Church funds. More info from Ann Biggs Tel: 01353 740 810
