The main reception at Ely's Princess of Wales Hospital is to be closed by the beginning of March after a review of the hospital's services by Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust. What do the readers of Ely People think?

What a shame - we should be doing everything we can to keep our Hospital up and running and growing ! The RAF Hospital (as I remember it) is a great part of our local history and we should be raising money to keep this open. The NHS should be expanding the services at this hospital rather than closing it down. It is much smaller than it used to be, but the essence is there. After all, it is so convenient to the Ely area.
