Size ratio

It's a big one all right! It has been described as the Ship of the Fens, as you approach Ely from Soham on the A142 you can see the cathedral towering above the landscape – it’s a wonderful sight. Ely is a city not a town, maybe the smallest city in the UK? What I like about it, is no mater where you are, if you look up you’ll see the cathedral: it’s the tallest building, no other high-rise structures around, a city like no other I’ve ever been to.
