Thieves have stolen a rare World War II bomb trolley from a premises in Burwell.

Offenders took the black eight-foot long RAF trolley, which still had its four original military tyres, from a company in Factory Road between 9.30am on Sunday September 2 and 7.30am the following day.

Power tools, farming equipment and metal, including 30 sheets of corrugated steel, were also taken during the burglary.

Detective Inspector Donna Wass said: "This is a very distinctive trolley which was being used to transport bricks and tiles around the site.

"All of the stolen property is likely to be covered in a light-red clay dust and I would urge anyone with information to call police."

Anyone with any information should call DI Wass on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
