Police Appeal Over Fatal Witchford Collision

Police are re-appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision in Witchford last month.

The incident happened at 4.20pm on Sunday, September 16, on the A142, at the junction with Sutton Road when a blue Ford Fiesta and a gold Hyundai Tucson collided.
The passenger in the Fiesta, 35-year-old Sarah Gibbs, of New Barns Avenue, Ely suffered fatal injuries. The driver of the Ford, a 17-year-old boy from Ely, suffered serious injuries.
PC Jason Porter said: "I would like to appeal specifically to the driver of a white vehicle that may have been turning right off the A142 into Sutton Road, Witchford, at the time. They may have important information to this investigation.
"Anyone who was in the area and thinks they may have any information should not hesitate to get in touch."
